Hello Jello,
"Neptune's Lair" by Drexciya totally reminds me of SC2. I just acquired this aquatic --> outer space dark electro funk gem and, well, I love it so much I thought I would tell you guys.
You can find copies on Soulseek, available at http://www.slsknet.org -- of course, if you like it, please support (relatively) independent artists and try and get your hands on it or some of Drexciya's other work in non-mp3 format.
Not all of the 21 tracks are SC2-ish, but it certainly reminds enough for me to post ...
