What i want to do is play star control 2 I no longer have a console my machine died.....but i heard i could get the conplete game off the net..not sure if its true but as of right now i have nothing im just tryin to get the original game so i can play it

Yes, you can download it for free. I know, I know, it's too good to be true. Check http://sc2.sourceforge.net/ and then look for the Windows download (if that's what you're using) in the section for it. It shouldn't be too hard to find. The file is huge, though. I'm actually downloading it onto a crappy alternate computer as we speak and it's taking hours. You might want to look into how to turn the voices off in the game because they're kinda bad.

I also enjoyed the voices - though I did not particulary like the Orz. The supox was in my opinion second to worst.

Er, he said he was playing the 3D0 version and then his system went kaput, so shouldn't he be pretty aware of the voice quality or lack thereof?
