It's worth pointing out that UQM isn't a player-as-PC game. There are third-person shots of you (albeit not in the current alpha). Zelnick is male, even if the player isn't.
Otherwise you can take the Official Line (tm) which was, IIRC, "Dude, wake up and smell the 90s!"

I don't think she will ban anything from me since I'm 19.
But she has always been very 'trustful' about all kinds of games. Even when Doom was released, she was very supportive and let me play it.
