And what is the point of this thread? This is chilidsh and unneccessary. In a forum with as few new thread as ours, any thread will be looked upon at least a few times.
Therefore, I declare this thread to be on-topic, lets have a proper discussion about white supremacy.
Unfortunately, being from a part of the world where most people, but not all, are white, I tend to run into these people every now and then. Most of those I've encountered seem to base their hatred on fear of the unknown, although it must be admitted that finnish culture does not blend well with anyone else even under ideal circumstances.
Now, in the US the only organization I know of (never having studied the subject extensively) is the KKK. Anyone ever run into them? What do they base their believes on? religious texts? Anicent tradtions? Or what?
Keep in mind that this is a serious topic, so only grown-ups need reply.

There are other racist group in this country that disgiuse themselves as civil rights groups, such as Black Pathers, Black muslims, NAACP, and all of Alan Sharpton's followers.
Actually racism is learned and is passed on each generation usually each generation becomes more tolerant.

Well I am not a grown-up but I am fully serious. So I will try my best to make a even handed reply:
I have never even heard of the KKK before you said it luki - When it comes to america - It seems that there is not much of a problem whne it comes to hating where you come from. (Except form Iraq - I know one person - he is really nice, but is given crap in school.) Anyway, from what I have heard, countries in urope don't get along very well. Maybe that is because of were they coem from? Anyway, if america was like certain people in Finland, France etc. (Not all as Luki here is not like that ) then we would have no country. As almost everyoen has some story of their grandma/grandpa coming over from a country - though I would be lying if I said there was none.

And how is it learned? usually, young adults (who also tend to be rebellious) tend to need a bit more than "This is the way we do it".
That's like saying math is usually learnt in school. Yes, it is. But how? Does someone teach you? Do you only read about it or do you need to do excercises? In general its correct but it lacks the depth I'd like to be informed about here.
My example, the KKK (Which is Ku Klux Klan Falcon, pointy hats, burning crosses, ring a bell?) is a big organization, or used to be at any rate. I'm fairly sure they had soem sort of justifications for their action, some reason for why the white race was supreme.
Also Falcon, while you make a good oint, even though you may know a lot of people who'se grandparents coming over, it doesn't count unless they weren't white. White supremacy does not have a trouble with white poeple moving in. It has a problem with everyone else moving in.

Being that I live in New York I don't hear alot about them for the most part they are based in the southern states, Historically it dates back to the post Civil War era slaveowners who were POed that they lost the legality of slaves. For some reason about a year or two ago they marched in their own parade here in New York City, weird huh?

from what i understand, people, (such as the KKK), are driven by the fact, they think the "white race", will be swallowed up by the ethnic blending. people will enter breed, ,phasing out the so called "pure white race". to me thats a joke onto itself. what is a "pure white race"? i myself, hail from 3 differnt ethnic backgrounds: native american, german, and irsh. my father, who i dont know, was native amercain, my mother was a mix of irish, on her mothers side(grandma), and german on her fathers side(grandpa). im "white", with a year round tan. lol. so what am i? people who call themselves, "pure white", probably dont know they are a mix of other "white races". wich isnt really pure at all.
growing up, my uncle told me he didnt like black people. it wasnt because of there skin color, but more on the fact he had bad encounters with blacks as a whole. he grew up in LA for awhile, so there was just about a mix of all kinds of races. to me he wasnt racist, just someone that had a bad experiance with black people. he never made me feel that i had to hate someone that was black, just because he himself didnt like black people. so to me people are people, they come in all sizes, shapes and colors. its how we treat each other that really matters...

That's funny, when I was applying I found that white people were the ones who didn't get scholarships.

Let us not forget Neo-Nazis. We've got a few of them here on campus, and every time I see one of them in their their "military uniforms" (old German WWII wool coats with rank chevrons, the Goldener Adler and the Nazi Swastika still attached), it makes me want to deck them. I'm a believer in interracial/interreligous relationships, and these skinheads make me sick.
Methinks it the topic also ought to be changed from "White Supremacists" to "Supremacists" in general. Black Panthers were mentioned, but, well...Terminator...you've GOT to be trying to get banned for making smartass remarks about real orginizations like the NAACP, or something. They might be slightly radical, but you can't be going around McCarthy style slapping "supremacist" on every group you don't like.
Lets grow up here. How old are you, anyway? Still young enough to try to rile up people just to get your jollies, that much is obvious...

Interracial relationships are a great idea genetically speaking: it mixes up the gene pool and theoretically increases disease resistance (in the long run). Inter-religious relationshps don't usually fare as well; especially once kids come into the picture: whose faith are they raised in? It's an important schism if both parents believe their childrens' afterlives are at stake (if their religions are not concerned with an afterlife, then this becomes mostly a non-issue; more along the lines of whatever the child would prefer).
Please don't label me as a non-religious-comingling-supremesist now.
