Beware the spoil!

.
.

You'll have to go to their home world to tell them. If you tell random Mycon (ones not in the government?) they won't move.

If you tell them about the special world, they shouldn't attack you, if I remember correctly. I think they simply tell you to leave after aproving the planet.
My guess is that either you didn't get all of the plan from the Shyreen Captian or you chose the wrong topic when talking to the Mycon.

You are going to the wrong world. That is not their homeworld.

For shame lightman; make him read the FAQ!   Wink

In the original PC version they told you this, but because of the "voice pack" from 3D0, it's not getting put back into the conversations until a way can be found to have voices with the text. I'd suggest putting the extra conversations in the comm/*/*.txt files, but only show them when voice volume is set to 0.  That way, both the 3D0 and PC versions are retained.

This isn't my department, so don't rely on this, but I think the goal was to use the new (not-yet-implemented) resource system to be able to swap between the 3DO and PC dialogue systems, and leave the PC dialogue silent.

(This would also involve making the 3DO's subtitles match exactly, so the Commander would not, for instance, be calling you by name anymore in the subtitles.)

Heh, the FAQ could use a little organizational work, but I'll try to keep that in mind. Wink

I don't really understand what the problem is, anyway. When I played the 3DO version, I had no trouble understanding what was going on. Tongue
