Hey all. Not sure if this is a bug or not... I have done all the steps leading up to getting the sun device, including retrieving the Syreen ships and learning of their plans for revenge. I have even gone and told the Mycon at Beta Brahe 1 about Organa, but they just won't leave the planet. Am I doing something wrong?

wrong place to tell the mycon.
Try other planets.
Your confusion comes from a difference in the PC and the 3DO/UQM version, the mycon just forget to tell you where Juffo-Qup springs forth from.
(Search this forum for more info, i am too lazy to search for you)

Let's start counting up how many times people ask this question in a seperate thread; I'm certain it's been more than 7 times already.
The real answer is: There is no Sun Device in the 3DO version of SC2. If you want to free the Chmmr, you have to read the FAQ.

Yes there is a sun device... I used to have the actual 3DO version, and I distinctly remember having to use it to speed the Chmmr evo.

I will give the following clues:
Beta Brahe is a special place.
But it is not the origin of Juffo-Wup.
First you must inform the origin of Juffo-Wup.
The sun device is prized by the Mycons. They will not give it up easily.
Human vessels are weak against Mycons.
....that is all.
