hmmm, i killed the shofixti but no brother of his has ever showed up. it's been a while since that happened, maybe he got bored and left  Wink

Did u find it by trial and error or did u use PN&F? The clues given where extremely vague I don't think it looked like a snake anyway I checked mostly in Ur-Quan space the clues were a little confusing remember I was running the original back in like 1996 and I had no web connection and I seriously doubt PN&F or any similar sites existed at the time anyway

When I played, I finally gave up with the quest of the beast. Reloaded my game (to cut the 2 years I spent searching) and continued the gem. However I found it because the Thraddash told me about it. They also tell you about a rainbow world.

As he said, BUY THE INFO FROM THE MELNORME. It's right there, numeric stellar coordinates.
And if you befriended the Thraddash, the second or third time you ask them for the news, they too tell you its exact location.

Are you joking? If you let them go back they kill the Ilwrath! Then if you go to their homeworld(Ilwrath) you can find a clocking device for your flagship! But it is clocked so you have to search every pixel over there.... It has a random location over the planet! This item is a must! Good luck finding it  Roll Eyes

edit: also if they get killed by the Thraddash, you can still search for the clocking device in their homeworld!

DJ i've heard this meantioned before as a device FF & PR intended to implement so to my knowledge it doesn't exist.  To be acurate it has been meantioned on these forums many times.

I think we shouldn't correct people when they post funny stuff like that.
Let the newbies go searching for the cloaking device, or super weapon or whatever. It'll give them a chance to explore more.
