I'm a little curious, since the Druuge aren't very open about their past in the game, if anyone has any opinions about Druuge history, or knows any more then I do about Druuge history.

Well I just read 1984 by George Orwell and that could explain it. The lower class revolted and tried to found a socialist republic. They got power hungry and decided to control everything. The crimson corperation controls all communication. That way, an organised revolt is impossible.

This history is mostly post Crimson Corperation. We want to know how the Crimson Corperation rose to power.

Well, you see, first the Crimson Corp was just a little company in a quiet
corner of the Druuge world. However, after they released their
main software product, Windows, they quickly grew in strength and
resources....

In all seriousness, my previous post was a joke. I have nothing against
Microsoft. However, being one of the more technologically advanced, richest and wide spread corps, I thought they'd make a good paradoy of the Druuge's Crimson Corp. It wouldn't have been as funny if I'd used Mal-Mart, for example.

I hate Microsoft I loathe Microsoft Windows is necessary which is the only reason I use it. Let me put it this way Microsoft sued Mike Ro for creating a site called MikeRosoft.com the whole countries gone down the tubes.

Please explain what is "necessary" about Windows.  If you don't like it, there are abundant (1 2 3 4 5 6 7) alternatives out there.

If you hate it, but then you still use it, what's the point of complaining about it?

True dat. I haven't used Windows for some time now. I know a number
of people that just use Linux, BSD, Mac, Solaris, or even DOS. Windows,
on a home computer, is not a requirement. Even in most offices
it isn't needed to perform the tasks performed.
While I admit that there are some specialized areas where Windows
is a requirement (or at least the lesser of the evils) I don't see
why you use it if you "hate" it so much.

Windows is a good operating system non the less. The one thing about it that bothers me is the fact that windows media player cant play ogg vorbis files, or mod files. But then again, nor can itunes.
