Well, maybe a bit old news, but i've made some nice shipsets for Space Empires IV (gold)! Accessable through http://sc2ships.dyns.net
And, while you're on it, join the Star control 2 Space Empires IV gold game at http://seiv.pbw.cc (Space empires IV play by web), though it is a bit downish, and it hasn't started yet, with more players we can maybe get it started (we're waiting for a small mod..)

Your shipsets would have been fantastic in Space Empires 3. However, you really should contact one of the graphic artists (like the one who made the ZFP shipsets) to see about doing shipsets for the other SC races in SE4/SE4G.
As a long SC2 fan (My first game on the 3DO) and a longtime SE player (SE3! w00t!) I'm glad to see people putting time into shipsets like that. I do know that we over at Space Empires Legacies ( www.solar-outpost.com/legacies/ ) were once putting together a Star Control mod for Space Empires 4 Gold, it's since been put on the back burner due to lack of interest.
