yes there is all versions are still keep simply change the IP address from 0.3 to 0.2 or even 0.1. 0.1 was extremely buggy and unbeatable (literally). here's the addres to dl the 0.2 installer for windows. http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/sc2/uqm-0.2-win32-installer.exe?download

I have no idea what :p means. (Yes, I know, hey, this is the first forum I have ever posted in...)

So assuming you are serious. The Samatra red shield spheres were impossibe to destroy. (Or so said - I have never played 0.1)

I tried it for kicks and to see the changes other than bugfixes.(ie. minerals were displayed in text not a graph and mineral energy bio scan was done PC style)

For me 0.1 was unplayable during planet landing you had to fly blind since no screen was present, planet was there just wouldn't change over.

0.2 however had melee problems I could not get past cyborg-only gameplay.

You could beat the game in 0.1 by using blazes of glory, which is a area based attack.

Using a shofixiti for the Sa-Matra!? I think not besides 0.2 locked up on combat.

It can be done, I didn't say it was easy. You needed at least 10 scouts with some luck to have a decent chance to win. Then finish off the Sa-Matra's defenses with a powerful ship like the Utwig Jigger.

Does anyone know whether the save games I have from 0.3 will work one 0.1?
