well it seems pca graphics has locked thier site with a name and password. i can no longer link to the picture i was using here. i do, however, have it saved to my pc.
my question is how do i use a picture i have on my pc as an avatar here or any other place?
if thats not possible, i have another suggestion. if i cant use my old avatar, i would like to request your guys help in finding a new avatar. what im really interested in finding is a avatar of the uss defiant from star trek deep space nine. if some one has any links to such a picture or what not, please feel free to share. and as always...

Well, if I am understanding you correctly. You need to find some servers to use. I use the Netscape ones, I know there are others though. What you do is simple "post" it there and then provide a link to it here. I think a plain link will work, if not then try [img] [img] with the link in the middle.

thank you, FalconMWC, but im not looking to mave my own web page and such. it never held any intrest when i first got online, and it still doesnt today. i take it thats the only way to use what i got on my pc as an avater. i suppose ill just use this new one, and be happy about it. it was time for make over anyway. if i ever get an intrest to open my own site, ill keep you info bookmarked. thanks again...

No, no, - Sorry if my statement inplied that.
What you can do is upload a picture to a file manager. There is no web page. Just a picture. Then you simple link to that picture for the forum. Actually, Defiant, if you link me the picture I will put it on.
