about the funny autonomous fighters what do you expect it's a 5 minutes model Cheesy

Nifty. Some very nice space scenes here. The ships looked particularly good when entering or exiting HyperSpace or exploding. The Zoq, Fot and Pik seemed a bit static, though; shouldn't they be moving around a bit when they're talking?

Also, it seemed a bit odd that the Kzer-Za fighters were pretty much standing still while the Marauder was launching a FRIED; the Ur-Quan would probably disapprove of fighter pilots freezing in the middle of a battle like that.

I keep having trouble opening it with winamp. I can hear the souns, but know movie. Is it me? Roll Eyes

Looks like DivX video with MP3 audio. Do you have a DivX codec installed?

Also, in my experience, WinAmp is not very good at playing video. Try using Windows Media Player instead. At least in Windows Media Player, you can turn off hardware acceleration if it doesn't work (I've seen that happen quite a lot).

The video plays fine for me in MPlayer.

I got the impression that the scene with the FRIED was in slow motion.
Before, we see the fighters zipping about and then _slow_ down
a lot. It's about how they act in melee anyway.

Next, if you're looking for movie suggestions, how about the Ur-Quan defeat
at the Shofixti home system? ... Or the Ilwrath fleet butchering the Pkunk, just as the signal comes in for them to leave? The uncloaking + flame effect would be really impressive.

Or the Combined Utwig Suppox campaign, the Ilwrath Thraddash war, the Syreen strike at the Mycon birthing fleet, the Yehat civil war, the use of the Sa-Matra against the old alliance... numerous examples

I get the audio but not the video because of a 'corrupt filetype'
