Possibly the most awesome Transformers link ever to be posted on any forum ever.

I give to you, breakdancing transformers!*

*Note: Needs Flash 7, wont work in opera, unsure about linux/netscape browsers =\

http://www.wilenkin.com/transformers/Video_player_06_content.html

I positively lost my... shoes... when I saw this. I absolutely adored Transformers as a kid and I find that I still love em as an adult. Kind of like SC Cheesy

Anyway, enjoy the link and if you didnt... well... Go see a doctor. Quickly Grin

I think it'll run in Mozilla, if you have Flash 7 installed, regardless
of platform. Though, since I'm still using ol' Flash 6, I'll have to
go without.

{Edit}

Mirror Found, will update if I find more mirrors.

Cool but erie. I like how they kept the old-school music and not the one from the newer series(OK remixed it) and the transforming SE both from the original series.  Anyway all Transformers ever was is a very unique spin on a old Japanese Series called Voltron: Defenders of the Universe(from the 70's I think), If you've ever seen it you know where all these Power Ranger and Power Ranger rip-offs originated from.

I'll grant that Power Rangers are a complete rip-off, but only the Gestalt transformers like Devastator (who were not in the original episode, BTW) are reminisent of Voltron.

LOL!!! It's great.

It's probably the most humiliating thing ever done to Soundwave, but it's great!!!

Cool!!
Why dont they make a whole new series with animation like that? Sure beats the damn beastwars (yuck).  Wink

And soundwave is simply the coolest sounding entity I know of. Oh how I searched for a voice synth or filter to replicate that sound... but alas... all in vein.   :-/

Actually BeastWars is damn good, have you really given it a chance or just judged it based on its graphics?

Well, I dislike the new shapes of both megatron and optimus prime, and I think there's too much slapstic involved wich makes it less serious (waspinator the eternal comic relief guy for example). Also the scale of the conflict is pretty small with only a small gang on each side.
But if I catch and episode while surfing through the TV channels I usually watch it. There's much worse forms of entertainment out there Smiley
Havent really seen enough episodes to really grasp the storyline though.

New shapes?  No such thing.  I guess you never saw the episode where Optimus Primal and his group protected the original Autobots while they were dormant in the volcano.

I don't mind slapstick, especially when the story is still good entertaining and smart.
If it were all about slapstick or slapstick with bad plot then it would've been bad (like season 3 of the original series, with Grimlock reduced to comic relief and Rodimus Prime as commander of the autobots).

Anyway, Culture20 has a major point there - these are NOT the original Optimus and Megatron, only their namesakes - named so in honor of the two.

To make it short, Beastwars is good because of its story line; an episode once in a while will only serve as spoilers that'll spoil the fun.

All of the above is, of course, IMO.

That was one of the good episodes the thing is in the video they admit it is a war, but in the series' you only see a small band of units on backwater worlds, key events, maybe it just seems to lose the big picture, It's like using a John Wayne film to tell the story of the Alamo.

You could be right UAF. I guess I'm not fully qualified to criricize unless I actually see at least some part of the series in chronological order.
And maybe I was being overly critical becouse I remember the original series to be absolutely awesome... but that was back when I was a little kid and my standard wasnt particularly high  Grin
