I have written another peice of music based upon the star control universe. This one is intended for use behind the supox race.

http://www.html.explevi.com/do.mp3

I wrote this in modplug tracker, because I still can't afford anything better. I made an ogg file type but I ran out of space on explevi.

Anyways, I composed this a while ago, intending to continue it, but I had my computor wiped, and lost the filters. So in my apathy, I clipped the last note in audacity and called it finished.

The only really notable thing about this song is that it goes from chord 5 to 6 though the whole peice, and only hits 1 in the last note (wierd). Oh well, enjoy.

Hey, this song's fairly nice. Fix in higher quality sound bits (or whatever people use to make these things with) and you've got something usable in the Remix project.

Thanks Cheesy

They are called instruments of samples in the program I use.
I have added proffesional softwear to my wish list. Then I'll use the in built synths and stuff and hopefully it will sound better.

I can't actually modify it because the tracker file was destroyed, and all I had was a poorly encoded mp3, which I clipped the ending as stated above.

I've never been able do download anything from your site. I'd be more than happy to comment on your work, if only I could hear it. Perhaps you should consider finding a more stable upload location? Smiley

Ya, uzipp sucks. The main part of explevi has taken a lot of beatings from it. Any suggestions on free locations untill I get some better hosting?

Not really, no. Not unless you know someone who's running a web server...

Or maybe you could create a Gmail account, send the melodies as mail attachments to that account, and then give out the user name / password for public use. Smiley

Or you can put a track or two on my FTP server.
http://ftp://veggie.is-a-geek.net/
Feel free to clutter up my "upload" folder.

My computer isn't on all the time, but it's up most of
the day. Hope that's of some help to you.

Edited: Actually, I put a copy of do.mp3 on my server.
Come grab a copy at:

Um. Not to be overly critical, but I don't seem to be able to download from that link, either.  Huh

You can try clicking the link directly from my main page instead of the forum (www.html.explevi.com). Somehow I doubt that will work. Ah well, its not that big a deal. I'm mooching hosting off a friend of mine, and hes switching soon.

For all those wanting a website BEWARE OF UZIPP!
