My new avatar.
« on: July 10, 2004, 03:15:14 pm »

It’s a character from my favorite anime. I drew the avatar myself.
Guess what anime and what character and you get… self-satisfaction.

So what do you guys think should I stay with the old or keep the new?

EDIT: When I looked at it did not survive compression well. So I resized it and cleaned up the extra pixels.

Personally, I think that you were better off with the old one.

A horrible insult. That auron thing was squished so it looked crappy.

Wait a minute... if your avatar is an anime character, then how can it be a self-portrait?

I mean, my avatar actually is my head  Grin

P.S

BioSlayer, not a bad artist considering you drew the picture, but the compression still kind of kills the quality.

I think i will keep this one, even thought the image looks dirty. someday i just might color it.
the reason for me to keep it?
It makes me look like im a very angry person.
[joke] and becuase jiffa does not like it. [/joke]

MoronicMaria could you slow down the cycle on your gif? it cycles to fast and hurts my eyes to a degree.

I got lucky and found it on a google search when looking for an animated pirate avatar a few years ago. It was hosted on some site that had a huge bunch of random animated gifs on a single page, so I don't know who created it or how it was done.

However, I think that the effects in it kind of have a photoshopish quality so I can only assume it was created by Adobe ImageReady, Photoshop's primary animation/gif creation program. At least that's what I used to resize the avatar and slow the cycle/framerate.
