Replacing UQM music with pop music

Firstly I would like to say that I like the old and new remixed music quite a lot however; has anyone considered what comerical music they would use in the place of music throughout the game?

I.E. The Principles Of Lust By Enigma for the Syreen
or Barbie Girl by Aqua
Perhaps Unforgiven by Metalica for the Ur-Quan (either)?

What music would you use?

...and what is old is new again.  See here for a previous discussion on the same topic.

This is a good idea, however it is one that should say on the paper, at one point I use "Achilles Last Stand"  Led Zeppelin for the hyperspace tune(yes all ten minutes). It  really didn't work out.

I've glossed over this topic intentionally a few times, but the title really gets under my skin. "Pop" filth should stay on MTV where it belongs.
