Resident Evil:Apocalapse? Well if it was inspired by a book there would not of been a sequel. I just have one thing to say I hope it's a whole flight of steps up from that OTHER movie.

i take it you didnt like the first resitdent evil movie? i thought it was nice addtion to the story line, not to off the wall and not rehash either. all in all it was fairly enjoyable. out of all the "game to movie"  ideas, this one hollywood did right.

here are some flops you might remeber?:

*super mario brothers
*wing commander
*tomb raider... i just didnt like it. im not to sure why but it didnt settle too well with me.
if theres any more i forgot, speak up.

games id like to see made into movie:
star control... of course Wink
command and conquer: red alert
final fantasy 4
castlevania
tenchu
just to name a few. talk at yall later.

I gotta agree with C&C Red Alert. I think it has awesome story aspects of WW2. (and naturally SC2 too)

But one game has ultimate potential for a movie:

I'd like to see the Quest for Glory games made into movies.
Also, the Timothy Zanth Star Wars novels. The books take
place about five years after Return of the Jedi. To top it
off, there were three (all excellent) books, keeping with the SW
tradition.

Heh, I loved that movie. Now before you bring out the torches, I loved it because it was so bad. We were weakly laughing all way through it. Of course, the replay value is closer to zero than should be possible.

Tomb Raider was alright if you went in to watch boobies and pistols, but if you expected a story you were sorely dissapointed.

I'd like to see the entire Space Quest series filmatized.

And I thought CNN was a good information source. *makes a big 'X' over CNN sites*

Stupid gags. I did wonder though, since Mozilla didn't initiate anything. Then I tried to use IE. Do they really have to? That's older than my deceased granma's first pine tree..

A movie set in the Land of Frobozz would be interesting, but it would definitely only appeal to a select audience.  Sad

Are you refering to the books written by Timothy Zahn, with Admiral Thrawn leading the remains of the Empire?  If so, I whole heartedly agree, though I think either George Lucas needs to go back to his old style of filming movies or someone else should take over the project.  I hate how he panders to little children, its disgusting.

Yes, if someone out there could write a script as silly and hilarious as the games, it would be a incredible thing...

i have a great idea for c&c red alert.
time:1943
place: enstiens lad located in phelidelphia, usa
plot: enstien creates a time machine for one purpose, to go back and save his granddaughter (age16) from being slaughtered in germanys blitzkrieg of France. going back he soon realizes that any attempts to change that outcome always leads to her death. outraged by his own inability to save her, he does what any man desperate to save someone so dear to his heart. he goes back and removes Hitler all together. now with Hitler gone, his grand daughter lives. but at a price, in saving her life, he has also saved the life of a little boy, with an amazing ability to control minds. his name...Yuri.. without germanys war with Russia, this boy soon grows in power within Russia's ranks. and so it begins... red alert.

well thats just the tip of my iceberg. i could go on and say this would at least be a three part trilogy, with enough twists and turns to keep you guessing till the very end. but im tired and this is a good stopping point. tell me if this, at all, interests you.
