I *REALY* like the name, just had to say that. A mix between 2 very interesting plots (a game and a set of movies, both funny).

Yeah I do still like the name. I was aware of the Evil Dead movies using a pre-invented concept of the Book of the Dead but no details on the original concept, thanks for the link!

It's theoretically possible, but it generally doesn't happen. Especially since any given edit can be backed out by the administrator, and the administrator can presumably also ban by IP or the like. Don't forget that you have to have an account to make your edits, in general. That makes it easier to (a) prevent spambots, and (b) keep people from making fools out of themselves more than once.

I was going to write a Wiki entry on it, but I have the feeling that it would be easier to find such sentiments here:
I think the Ultronomicon is in need of a published "style guide" that contributors are invited to read and adhere to. The current situation resembles "a million monkeys on a million typewriters", and the articles, while high in quality at this point, are uneven in appearance; and the editing capabilities of a web browser do not lend themselves well to "smoothing over" oft-repeated mistakes (cut-and-paste into vi, and back again when done seems to work, though)
I don't know what precise level of pedantry should be applied, but I think that at the very least, people should use the nifty categorization features of MediaWiki (add a [[Category:Something_or_Other]] to the bottom of your pages when applicable) to keep the site organized, and cross-references to other articles should be highly encouraged (although you should only link the first occurrence of any work that links to another article, not every single one) What types of constraints would the contributors so far be comfortable with?
Happy writing,
