Cannot Run UQM using Remix Addon Packs.

Hmmm.  I am running windows XP.

I have the three .zip files in the uqmremix folder, which is in addons.

I have -uqmremix in the command code.

What am I doing wrong?

Further investigation shows that when I now run the game, the dos box says that a kernel failed to load and the game won't even run without the remix packs. $_$

That said, I am re-installing.

1) Use UQMlauncher (search the forums I don't have that much time left so I'm not searching for you.. sorry.. Tongue)
2) place the zips in a seperate folder inside the "addons" directory, like "uqmremix". So you will get packages/addons/uqmremix. (Hmm.. I see that you've already done that.. Nevermind. I will just let that stay here for future users with the same problem.. Wink Let's hope they find out about the search button..  )

With UQMlauncher, you'd be able to fix it for sure...

What you would put on the command line would be "--addon uqmremix", not "-uqmremix".
