Modding planetary images

All right -- done some digging around in the source code stuff, and we/I decided to switch Cimmerian worlds over to Diamond worlds. So far, we/I've made fairly good success; dug into the plandata.c file, switched up the elements, made it white, made it say 'Diamond World' up top. We/I also finally tracked down the image data to something called jjj_cts.ct, but that's where all our luck ends. Does anybody know how to edit .ct files? Or what they are?

Cheers!

.ct files are colourtable files, see doc/devel/strtab for a description of the file format; and good luck with it.

Excellent.  Groovy, in fact.  I think we can work with this.  When/if we ever consider our mod "finished", we'll post it here.

Thanks a lot!
