Does anyone know if a Windows version of StarCon3 exists or will ever be created? I couldn't get my original version to run properly in Windows nor could I find a version that would. If anyone knows, please let me know. Thanks!

I love YaBB 1G - SP1!

Mine worked fine with Win98. XP is another story.
However, Star Control 3 not working is a blessing.

Heheh, yeah. It's definitely not as good as StarCon 2, but I kinda wanna play it for nostalgic purposes. When I originally played it, it was on Windows 98, but you're right, I'm on XP now and it doesn't want to work properly. I need to build a "retro" machine so I can play some of my older games. I miss playing Ultima 6, too.

Well - I bought the cd for SC3 - A waste of money, but I did not feel like downloading it.... Anyway - I used the XP adaption system and it worked fine. (it can pretend to be win 95,98,ME and have 256 colors and what not.) Its in every XP system - just go to help and type it in.....

I'll definitely check that out. Now will the fact that I have an integrated sound card that isn't set to the IRQ and IO settings it's expecting be a problem or does XP take care of that? Thanks!
