Makes you go mad? I think the measuring system is not good enough. It should count the per cents. Until you have written 1% of all messages, you are a newbie. When you have written 2,25% of all messages, you are something else and so on.

Just curious, was is it a concious decision to make the rankings post-based rather than time-based??  It seems slightly inaccurate to label a someone who posts infrequently over a long period of time a "Newbie", whereas relatively-new-yet-verbally-incontinent types (like myself) get labelled as "Regular"

Or is that just how YaBB works?
