Knife fights? Vodka? are you sure you aren't talking about Russian folks?

"You boldly enter our space! Approach this Dreadnought as though it were a recreation base and then play the dumb hominid? Who do you take us for, Captain... Spathi!?"
Nope, although we drink more Kossu than vodka. It's just that someone outside of Finalnd would never have heard of that, and it's quite close to Vodka anyway. And sauna is a finnish word, and THE place for a knifefight. We're way tougher than our neighbours
Mmh - can't say that I can vividly picture a knife-fight in a sauna. Not that the confined space wouldn't make it interesting, but there's way too little space for an audience and innocent by-standers (<- innocent victim)

Greetings from the German Nightmare - Up the Irons!
That's actually a very funny show - even when it's dubbed in German, it still has the original flair to it.
I would almost take a bet that inside one Dynarri there's a whole lot of mechanics and stuff and that this one Dynarri in particular is just one of Brain's constructs in one of his plans to take over the world.
That would explain the Kohr-Ahs' suspicion towards sentient life - they just fear it's not real but there's Pinky & the Brain inside, so they just annihilate everyone to make sure

That depends o nthe Sauna. One of the big 30 or 50 ppl things can be quite good for that. Didn't you ever see the Arnie movie were he was a Russian cop? Sauna fight rulez!
I don't remember that movie, but I do like that one Kindergarten Cop... I watched that movie when I was a kid and that evil dude really scared me with his pony tail and shift eyes!
Worse than Zebranky...!!!

"Even Our House Pets Are Rather Evil." - Ilwrath Captain
Wow wow wow - the guy shifting his glass-eye IS from a Schwarzenegger movie, but it was "Last Action Hero".
Other favorites: T1, T2 (looking forward to T3) and of course Predator 1 & 2 (although Arnie ain't in it) as well as all the Alien movies.
I'm just glad that in the SC2-universe there ain't anything like "Aliens"-aliens or "Predator"-predators The Kohr-Ahs' bone-pit is close the ultimate Predators' paradise.

Yeah, and the Kohr-Ah are somehow a lot more spooky than the Predators. I mean, the Predators are just brutish hunters, highly evolved technologically mayhap, but socially (from what we see anyway) still tribal. Whereas the Kohr-Ah are advanced intelligent and just insane.
I have to say i wasn't too fond of P2 though, even though I loved number 1.
And Aliens are just animals. Lethal ones yes, like ZEX beast, but still no more than that. Even the Ilwrath are scaryer than that, cuz they do the same maiming out of pure spite.
Animals maybe, but then again, we are animals as well, only highly intelligent. Having spent some time on the matter - the Aliens aren't just your lethal, neck-biting chest-bursting animal. They are highly intelligent and adapatable and therefore considered semi-sentient. They are just so alien that our definition of an intelligent species doesn't fit.
I'd like to see the face of a Kohr-Ah after spoken his words "Over a thousand races have made such a claim..." and then you present him a gift of surrender et voilá: Alien in wrapper with a red ribbon. cccchhhhhhhhhHHHHHHH - Snap!

Are they though? I've seen the movies and read quite a lot of the comics when I was younger, and I always thought they could be classified like sharks or some such. Lethal yes, but acting totally on instinct and therefore not sentient. I mean, they don't utilize any sort of tech, for any purpose. They just feed and breed.
And yes, we are animals, as are the Kohr-Ah. but we act (or should act) upon logic deductions and reasonings. Not upon primal instincts.
