Slow down game time?

As an old fan of this game, I really enjoy the UQM beta 0.2. The only thing that disturbs me, is that game time passes way too fast. Is there any way to slow it down? If not I fear that I will never be able to stop the Kohr-Ah in time.

There seems to be a lot of these posts today... to change the game in some small way.

I remember the first time I played SC2.  I played all the way until the Earth got destroyed by the Kohr-Ah.  I've never let it happen again and its one of those great memories.  

I'm guessing you'll have to change source code to slow it down... and then work in a way to make it an "option" for this to happen.  But I doubt you'll see that option for a long time after 1.0 (which may be another long time).

My suggestion would be to take your cookies and learn from your mistakes the first time you played it through.  You'll have even a better fleet the next time!

I know after I beat SC2 the first time, the whole reason I played it the second was to see if I could save EVERY race.  Not just a majority.  Tongue

The first time my friend and I played we won about a week after the utwig and supox were annihilated. And that was with us wasting several game months because we hadn't taken notes. AND with us not getting maxed out speed upgrades for way way too long.

Put simply, there is enough time.
