Stupid question =)

Im really sorry to ask this, but i played this as a child and want to relive my old memories =) the only problem is that I cant get into the game now that I have spent months trying to find it =/ It keeps asking me about the names of stars everytime I try to start I, can anyone gimme a hand? Btw, ive forgot if there is a save option when in the game?

Why don't you download the UQM. It doesn't have the copy protection the original SC2 had. Otherwise.. it's practically the same game and works in Windows very well without DOS emulations.

*ahem* It also sounds like the copy protection in Star Control 2. Funny about that...

As earlier mentioned, For heavens' sake, just download UQM!

*sigh yes I know it does it just seems like an odd kind of cp and I was suprised that it was used in so many games.
