Problem with Mac OS X

My musics and battle sounds are working well, but speech doesn't! What shall I do?

Have you read the README file enough to be aware that the speech packs are not included with the default OSX distribution?

Have you downloaded the speech packs and then followed the instructions in the README for installing them for use with the game?

Lastly, are you running the official 0.3 release or the unofficial 0.34 release?

I have downloaded speech files, and I put them to their places, but speech is not working. I use 0.3 release.

In this case, I'm not sure what to tell you.  Version 0.3 does indeed work with the speech pack, and I confirmed that on my machine a moment ago for good measure.

If you have done as you claimed, then all should be working properly.  Since it is not, there are really only two possibilities:
  • You have a corrupted speech pack
  • You have not installed the speech pack correctly
Since installing the speech packs is so simple that it's downright impossible to do it incorrectly, I'm going to guess that your speech pack is corrupt.  Check the MD5 of your ZIP file against the reference checksum on the downloads page to be sure, or simply download another copy.
