Star Control II ships - 'official' data?

Was curious if the new ships in Star Control II were ever outlined in an 'official' document? I have the 3DO manual, but it only outlines the ships from Star Control I. Thanks in advance!

The manual only mentions the races you know about at the beginning of the game.
There's a hints book ("Star Control Role Playing Resource Guide") where the rest of the races are described.
You can get it at the "Files" section of the Pages of Now and Forever.

Hmm? I managed to DL it.
It's mostly a collection of hints, then there's some short texts about the species, and line art for the ships, which can be seen on PoNaF.

There were no elaborate data on the ships.

Fileplanet's been working like that for at least 5 years; unless you have a pay account, they randomly pretend that the file in question doesn't exist on their servers.  They're within their rights to do so, but it's really odd. :-/
