What wins do you guys like pulling off?

I like beating anything bigger with the Supox by moving funny so they miss.  Grin

I like taking stuff out long range with the Mauler. Very much fun if you can get your aim down.

And if you can manage to lick someone to death with the ZoqFotPik, that's fun.

Sort of reminds me of taking out a Galleon with a Pinnache in Pirates!

My first selection against an Avatar is a Mauler.

I prefer to defeat a Jugger with an Intruder.

Against all big ships I like to use a Scout.

What's always fun to me is taking out a Kohr-Ah with a VUX.  Grin

or a Chmmr with a Yehat....

or a Shofixti with an Arilou by teleporting as he detonates...

or a .... (I could go on with things that would surprise you and shock you)

I loved using the Thraddash against all ships (well, except for the Utwig and Kohr-ah).  It could run quickly using it's afterburners, and it's bullet was pretty long-ranged and could withstand 2 hits, meaning that it could get past even the Avatar's defenses... Grin

It makes for long-drawn out games, though; I suspect some of my wins were because my opponent gave up. Tongue

Kohr-ah are toast, unless you're playing against someone who gets real patient and only uses FRIED.

Mmrnmhrm vs. anything that's not too fast (and not Chmmr)...
Smiley
Pellet them to death, slowly.. Smiley

Mmrnmhrm vs. Utwig is pretty easy, just deliberately MISS the Utwig, so he uses shield but gets no energy... (Do that by shooting way off ofcourse)..

Same goes for Spathi vs. Utwig (but that is easier, since spathi can shoot BUTT from the rear, ofcourse)..

I enjoy Utwig vs. Supox - not only do you break the game-long friendship Tongue - you also play a battle of the nerves with your friend when/if you fire. Its always fine to see them keep twitching over that shield button......  Smiley

The coolest kill I've gotten was in SC1, when I pinned a Mycon to the planet with DOGIs.

Killing a Mycon with a Shofixti by steering its own plasmoids into it is likely too common, but always brings a smile to my face.

I like completing the main campaign, the usual way. Brings a great big smile to my face every time. Call me weird. :-/

This may or may not be sneaky, but I've become great with the Thraddash.  Slow ships are easy to lure into your trails, but the fast ships like the Pkunk easily avoid them.  So I discovered that, when the ships are near the planet, the computer will take the opportunity to whip over the opportunity to avoid the Thraddash's trails.  This works wonders against the fast ships.

Heh. Tongue

I've "discovered" a nice sneaky win today, when I ended up with an Utwig vs Utwig battle..

Ofcourse, such a battle.. well.. is able to never end...
So me and the compu were shielding and gunning away, when I bounced off an asteroid, went away from my enemy, and saw the planet some pretty far away from us.. That's when I came up with this el-neato idea, to bump my opponent in it, and hold him there... Magically, this idea worked, and victory was mine. Tongue

"Grip of death", I tell ya!

What is "the usual way" of completing the campaign?
