We did. You did. Yes we can. No.

Note that it was made in 1983, so that immediately excludes a lot of movies.

I'm region 2 I think, and my DVD player is locked. Amazon don't ship stuff here, not games/consoles anyways. I have to pay up to $60-$90 for games here. In fact, I have to pay about 2x for everything here, and of course I pay twice as much tax too. I'd need a credit card too, and all I've got is cash.
I did some searches for it on kelkoo (cheapest price search site) and ginza (pretty big on music and movies here). No luck.

Your profile tells me you're a resident of Sweden. I would think that Sweden would be on Amazons list, seenig as they ship to both Finland and (if I'm not mistaken) Norway. Otherwise I'll get it for you and come meet you at the border. And that tax pays for a lot of public health.
Speaking of movies, I agree completely with DS in regards of the Alien saga. Number three just wasn't that great.
did someone already mention that Keanu Reeves movie, Johnny Mnemonic or some such? that was an enjoyable (though not earthshattering) flick.

Toys, games, and video games [and software] can be shipped only to locations within the U.S., U.S. protectorates, and APO/FPO addresses. yadda yadda yadda
And the list goes on. They do ship to Sweden though, just not the kinda stuff I'm after. There's a chance they ship movies and books though, but I still need to get a credit card.
In Sweden it's much better with this 'post-advance' system we got. All you need to do is fill out your name and adress on the store homepage, and they send the stuff to your nearest post office, where you pay to get the goods. In some cases they just drop the stuff in your mailbox and trust you to pay.
As for the Swedish wellfare system, I know it's pretty famous, but it's not as fantastic as people seem to think. Most goes to bureaucracy stuff or 'projects'. I know because I've worked for goverment funded projects. They mostly use up all the money putting groups together, publishing reports about what to do with the money.
