You were supposed to tell them to turn back when the went to rejoin the yehat, while you completed shofixti and vux quests. "I would like to know how to get the aqua helix..." Thraddash space. The only disadvantage is that you can't mooch ships off them anymore. It's one of the earliest races you've made contact with.. However, you need to use a certain device in their home system, so you can say to them that you're someone else...
