Okay, so I'm working on a SC2 mod for Timewarp Light, which is called "Timewarp: Super Melee"....
It's currently a graphics mod, meaning that all the ships have their SC2 graphics, and some of the weapons, too..
It's trying to be SC2 Super Melee as close as possible, but with the addition of a multiplayer option..
Here are some videos of me showing off my skillz the graphics mod...
http://home.deds.nl/~megagun/temp/Sc2TWlightmodvids.rar --> two videos showing some stuff.. One of me trying to own an enemy Yehat/Utwig, winding up killing a Melnorme, and one where my Syreen gets owned straight from the start, but I do a revenge sweep and kill 3 enemies in a few seconds with a Marauder.. Smile
http://home.deds.nl/~megagun/temp/moresc2twlightmodvids.rar (8 videos.. Better skillz here...)
Soo.. Opinions? Does it look uber great, or uber sucky? Or inbetween?
Note: these vids are made in 400x300 resolution (something TWlight actually doesn't really support. ) and therefore the menus are sometimes a bit cutoff, you know...

Will it have more than two ships fighting at one time?

The only time I've had stability problems with TW, it was when I was using my dual processor machine, and that was really only a problem with the way that jgmod handled threads with multiple processors. After I compiled w/o jgmod, everything was smooth. I presume that something similar could happen if you're running linux on a P4 with hyperthreading enabled, and are using an SMP kernel.
Clarification: There were plenty of times I had TW crash when I missed a pointer reference while adding a tiny bit of code.
