Assembling the Ultron

I've got the Spindle and I've got the Helix, but what do I have to do to get the Rosy Sphere from the Druuge?

Buy it from them or trade something with them (not telling what would be good lest it be a spoiler) for it.  Your choice.  Remember though this choice can effect a few future things within the game.

There's plenty of ways to get it from them, the most obvious would be to buy it from them outright.  Of course, this requires slave-trading, so if you're looking for other avenues, I'd suggest attempting to sell them something they find valuable.  They will give you some ideas for things to sell them if you talk with them at their homeworld.

A small hint for you: among the information that you can purchase from the Melnorme, they will tell you about a race called the Burvixese.  Following their clues will give you what you're after, albeit in a roundabout fashion.

You don't even have to give one to the Syreen. You only have to show it. You can sell it afterwards.

Also, there are unicorns in Archon. But alas, this too is irrelevant.

Horn stab? Blind? Teleport? Only guessing, but it seems logical.

I thought that (mythological) unicorns just had incredible healing powers and such. But I guess that wouldn't be much fun in a combat type game.

They shoot rapid fire horn bullets. And they can jump over stuff, like lava or bushes.

Oh, hehe. I guess that works too. This archon game must have a sense of humor, much like SC. Was there just the old dos one, or were there archon sequels/remakes that are more advanced?

"Horn-bullets" was acurate from a game-mechanics point of view, but I always saw them as energy bolts (countering the Basilisks' eye beams).  Archon was rather humorless actually.  It was just a darn good game with a fantasy base.  So good that I made it an official game in my D&D campaign settings; played like the holo-chess in Star-Wars.

There was an isometric Archon remake (Archon Ultra, Archon 2000?).  But it seriously changed the balance.  All of the creatures got a second action button, and the Phoenix's secondary was too powerful: a long-range tracking missile (firey-feather).

In archon:
Primary: "Horn-Bullets" machine gun.
Secondary: Leap.

But this is becoming a thread-hijack. Not suprised it started because of Zanth and instead of ignoring him, it was continued by the people who actually read and post in his thread.
If you wish to continue this discussion do it elsewhere.

@the original subject

You can always wait for the Koar-ah to wipe out the Druuge, but come to think of it. You don't really need the Rosy Sphere because they wipe out the Utwig first.
