I actually only choose the name so I could call my alliance the Empire of Penis, but afterward decided to keep it.

I just downloaded the game yesterday and am really enjoying it so far!

I named my Captain Dallas and my flagship Nostromo, which has a nice link to the opening post in this thread  Grin

Also, I watched the movie Darkstar just last week, I picked it up on DVD for £5. It's a classic  Wink

Captain Roets of the Genesis, and since yesterday the Darkstar.
No i didn't relate it with Dark Star. =)
But i came up with it as i remembered playing a HL mod called darkstar and i found the name suitable. Now i must continue playing, i just got to the orz part and the surface explorations with the mentioning of "them" Shocked creepy. i hope to find some more info about that during the game.

Totally lacking in originality I know but the comments regarding "kicking major alien butt!" and the dealings with Talana just made it seem more and more appropriate...

Recently though it's been Captain Cod of the Starship BirdsEye........

I think only someone from the UK might get that reference, but I may be wrong...
