Are you going to correct for the 320x200 format distortion?

Hey there. If you are interested I made a TON of 3d models for the game Aftermath. They were all based off of the original sprites so they have the correct dimensions and ratios in relation to each other. Since aftermath hasn't done much lately, if you could use them, they're yours. I can give you screenies if you like... I didn't get around to doing every ship in sc2 but there are a few.

ZFP
Spathi
Kor-Ah
Shofixti
Yehat
Illwrath
Vux
Arilou

So let me know...

Cheers

How "high resolution" are you wanting to go? Are you wanting to make the ships vector art in-game? So that they are resolution independent? Or are you simply using those to generate raster versions of the ships? Also what aspects of the game are you actually upgrading? Only the ships and combat?

Just curious...because it sounds interesting.

Also, I'd like to state to Rougethebat. Your e-mail is unlisted so people are gonna have a hard time contacting you about helping out.

I'm an artist who's willing, given that you'd actually be dedicated to making it happen. Sounds like a rather fun endeavor. So contact me. I can do any kind of pixel art, interface design, and/or 3d art you may need. But again, I probably need more information first.

Again something else got in the way, computer problems and fixes, work and a ton of other things.

So now it's back to ground zero, But I am still here and starting over.

about the questions I have recieved....

Are you going to correct for the 320x200 format distortion?
I am taking the pngs out of the graphics pack and working over them, beyond that I am unsure what I would need to do, data would help as to the max size in pixels to use.

Coeray, I would love help, and really am dedicated, it's just I have some really CRAPPY luck.

again guys no 3d, not for me anyway, I am going for a very cell like quality, where all the dimension is hand painted

Anyone who wants to talk with me can contact me at Darkechibi* * gmal .co*m put an AT between the 2 stars and remove all of them.

R

ps I will be popping in very soon to the IRC, hope after my looooonnnnnggggg absence, I am still welcome  :%
