This isn't really a serious question, is it? Come on. There's the cute little strategy game that gave TFB the money to make SC2. There's the crappy bloated sequel that came after SC2. And there's SC2 itself.
The situation is such that people who liked SC3 at all get in flamewars with people who prefer to pretend it didn't exist. I have a hard time imagining a fan who likes SC3 *more* than SC2.
And aside from the guy who hung out here a while ago talking about how playing SC1 for Genesis was the ultimate gaming experience in history, I have a hard time imagining someone who likes SC1 more than SC2, or thinks SC1 is more important. If SC2 had never been made, SC1 would be another cute little strategy game, and everyone would say "Oh, it's that Archon-style thing they made in space." It'd be like if J.R.R. Tolkien had stopped after writing _The Hobbit_.
