Game Ending
« on: December 13, 2002, 07:27:23 am »

Hi, I just want to say this port is AWESOME.  My favorite game from so many years ago.

I'm playing this game now with my wife.  Since the game is quite long, I have plenty of time before I get to the end battle.

My question is if anyone has an approximate idea when the bug preventing the final battle being one will be fixed or the next alpha binary release will be.

Thanks for any info in advance.   Smiley

The bug is fixed.  If you would like a non-official, individually compiled Win32 binary that has most of the recent fixes and changes for UQM, go here: http://uqm.stack.nl/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=Gendiscuss;action=display;num=1039541182;start=30

Thanks a lot!  Actually, I found this just after I posted that and saw your response just after finding the new binary.

I didn't expect that to be on the General Discussion Form.

Anyway, I've got a Linux/Windows machine and have tried compiling on Linux without success.  I got the dependencies satisfied but it would not finish compiling (but I'd need to go back and try again to list the error).

Anyway, thanks for your help.  Looks like this is a pretty decent group.
