Spathi wont go under the slave shield.

Ive played this game before and if I remember correctly the spathi go into hiding under thier own slave shield and give you the Umgah castor. (correct me if im wrong here). Right now im waiting for this to happen. Does it just take a certain amount of time for them to complete the shield? Ive tried talking to them and exhausting all questions I can ask them. BTW I have already ridded thier planet from the "ultimate evil" and they have joined my alliance.

ok, 6 months and 7 days. I dont remember when I allied with them. I know I didnt do it right away. I went collecting money and finding some rainbow worlds first. Should have done it sooner. What is the date of the deadline again? Ive sent the thraddash and utwig, and supox to attack the ur-quan>

to be more precise, it's 6 months minimum; if you're in their solar system after exactly 6 months, 7 days are added. if you come back after (exactly) 7 days, 7 days are added again, and again, and again - you have to wait outside the solar system for (say) 8 days and only then go in.

let's make it easier - after you ally with the Spathi (not just clear their homeworld, you have also to visit your starbase and get the message that you're allies) just quest around the galaxy until their Sphere of Influence disappears.
