Clix, is like Heroclix. It's like a turn based stragety board game. The ships would be on a base that rotates when damage is done th them to reveal pwoers or stats.

What about a Star Control collectibale card game like magic?

Certainly, fan-based card games have been done before. I suppose, if someone wanted to put the time and effort forward for it, we might end up with something like this:

Then again, don't kid yourself; that's a LOT of time and effort right there. A traditional "paper" card game would be just as much work.
