I keep changing the keys.cfg file, but when I do it's being overwritten.  When I prevent it from being overwritten, I get an error message saying I must be using a keys.cfg file from version 0.2 or earleir, while all I did was change keys in the 0.4 one.   I'm at a loss at what to do to force keys to be changed, please help me.

This should only happen if you change the "version" statement in the beginning of the config file. Are you doing a copy&paste from an earlier file?

Can you post your attempted key config?  If you're getting:

Quote
I didn't understand a single line in your configuration file.
This is likely because you're still using a 0.2 era or earlier keys.cfg.

Then you're systematically doing something wrong while editing, because it's not able to work out anything in the results.

ok, now I don't understand anything anymore, for some reason I tried it again and it worked, I tried like 20 times 2 days ago the exact same way and it didn't... oh well, I think I'll just pass that as the will of the universe or something, thx for trying to help ^_^

I find that my computer issues often disappear as soon as I have managed to get someone competent enough to diagnose them into the same room. PEBKAC, perhaps?  Wink

lol, no, I doubt it's a pebcak, since no one touches my computer aside from me (which means no one could "fix" anyting meanwhile), nor is it a ID 10 T code, I'm no pro with computers, but I'm still ways above the average user  =P
