I'm just wondering if there is a way to extract any of the midi or audio from SC3, and if there is a way to view ".PIC" files.

i've already mastered the hex editing of the .sav files
now i must tear the game apart for my own use. Grin

The music is in a file called gm.xmi, which consists of a bunch of XMI files concatenated together. Try using MultiRipper or something to extract them. This may work for some other stuff, too.

thanks man, your info actually directed me to Awave Studio which does exactly what i want to the midi's, but the 200+ mb VOC file i still have trouble with, i know what format the compressed files are but the problem is extracting them. I'll probably figure it out in a day or so.
