Illegal operation upon startup
« on: December 02, 2002, 02:32:38 am »

UQM won't even start.  I get an illegal operation error that pops up at the same time as the title screen.  I am running Win 98.  I took screen caps.  They're at http://www20.brinkster.com/pariahpress/uqm/illegal.htm

 Thanks.

Ditto.  Although, my machine at the office, also running Win98 SE works just fine.

I worked around this crash with the fullscreen command line option (-f).  However, after that, I got the 3 second sound loop bug and it hung when entering combat.  Turning the sound quality to low (-q low) fixed that and now I can play.  Smiley
