Greetings.

What exactly can an addon compose of? Obviously, remix music is available, and graphics have been done in the past.

Could you modify ship statistics with them?

Not yet; ship statistics are currently hard-coded into the .exe.  (Check the src/sc2code/ships directory if you want to experiment.)

On our "we really should get around to this at some point" list is refactoring much of the code to load data from files instead of reading them out of compiled-in tables.

Naturally, if someone wanted it enough to produce a patch that did this, it would show up much sooner than otherwise.

there have been attempts and some succesfulness, but i have long since lost that exe and the other files for said thing.
