Suggestion: Gameplay hints/spoilers forum

Would I be totally out of line by suggesting a forum just for gameplay hints, tips, and spoilers? (a separate thing like the Tech issues forum)

I just visited after being away for only two days and there are a plethora of gameplay related questions mixed in with all the other conversations.

If you think my suggestion is completely *nutty*, feel free to flame me Lips Sealed

My only issue with this suggestion, and it's a good suggestion, is that most of the game play issues have already been explored. I mean, let's face it. UQM is not a new game. Now, I have noticed the plethora (did you need to bust out the spell check for that one?) of gameplay questions. Technically there is already a SC2 game play forum that PNF keeps up, but no one visits. But otherwise, I don't see why us old timers can't help out the newbes on this forum.

I guess that would be cool, but it would be a bit too spread out. Pretty soon the whole forum would be one giant walkthrough. You can only go so far I guess. P.S.-(feel free to flame me)  Embarrassed

I'm guessing the proportion of us that would be really affected by hints/spoilers is quite low, a most have played it through multiple times.

I think that only the people asking questions would go to that forum, not enough of the people who could answer them.  Most of the questions aren't really specific anyways, and often lead to general discussion in the end...

Small forums like this get killed by too many subforums.  A General and Technical/bugs forum was my original suggestion to Mika, and so far so good Smiley.

It does seem that we've had a lot of traffic the last few days, you'll find subjects as far down as page 5 when you search for them. Maybe just a few more forums wouldn't hurt? On the other, if tit's been decided already, then it's been decided.

And in an ideal world, everyone who didn't have a specific UQM question would go to that forum, seeing as it's the SC forum as well. However, as people post here and not there, here is where something might need doing.
