Just wondering if re-compiling it for Pocket-PC would be possible, or what would be involved in doing so.
I think it would be AWESOME to have SC2 on my iPaq, then I could play anywhere and everywhere!
Just a thought.

Alright, so Im going to do this myself, if possible. Ive downloaded the DK for WinCE and hopefully I can figure out how to recompile the source....
We'll see.
If anyone has any advice, Id appreciate it!

I know people have had success with iPaq Linux, but I don't recall if anyone got it to compile under Windows CE. See if you can find an SDL port for that platform.

There is included in the SDL package, problem being that I don't have the WinCE Developer Toolkit to tie in to VC++6... and it will cost me another $200 or so to get it. A little pricey for one use.
Mind you, on a side note I was able to get the original installed on my iPaq and was able to run it using PocketDos.... however, the performance was atrocious, most of the processor gets eaten up in the dos emulation.
Hopefully someone out there has the WinCE toolkit, and would be willing to port it.
Thanks for the input.

Listen, this post got nothing but the sound of crickets in the distance because if you do a search on the mesage boards for iPaq you'll find similar projects, already started, with all the accompanying difficulties and set backs.
But everyone was being polite and not pointing this out to you, hoping you'd find it youself.
