I just want to say that I'm extremely impressed with what you (developers of Ur-Quan Masters) have accomplished. Everything from the raw remake to the new music and speech has made me feel 16 again! :-)
Thanks you so much for giving me the chance to relive one of my childhoods' favorite computer games!

This SC2 remake is indeed very well done, and I'll readily join in the applause. However, the voice acting is the same as it's ever been.

Oh, on my PC I never had speech so I assumed it was an addition... oh well. I still think it's nice

In an attempt at wit, VOiD has chosen to avoid mentioning that this is a port of the 3DO version of the game. Released some time after the PC version, it contained a host of additions and changes including, you guessed it, voices.
So, they're not "new" or unique to UQM, though they're new to you and others who have grown up with the PC version. ^_^
