I was just thinking that it might be cool to have a mode for SC2 that involved a Perpetual Galaxy, where you'd start out as a single race and build up your faction with whatever allies you can make. but, the opposing Faction would start forming at the same time that your first battle occurs (I.E. your first opposing race in battle leads the opposing faction). You would have no threat of the Sa-Matra, and there would be no slavery at first. I dunno...just a cool idea...

That sounds like any ol' 4X-game in space, like Master of Orion, etc.
Nice, but that is completely different from SC2, not just some mod...
