Topic: I have to proove, the Mycons destroyed Syra... (Read 2940 times)

I am currentyl playing the game for the second time (first time the Kohr-Ah cleansed everything  )...
I now have the problem of prooving, that the former Syreen-Homeworld has been destoryed by the Mycon. The Melnorme Trader sold me that info, but this is not enough for Talana, since she wants me to deliver some proof.
I could look this thing up in some walkthrough, but I do not want. Could you perhaps just deliver a small hint, if possible, without explicitly saying what to do?

I found it...
how are you supposed to find that thing in Beta Copernicus (without trying every system in Mycon space?)?
First I checked all blue stars in and near Mycon space, because Talana told me, the Ur-Quan chose a new world based on the descriptions of their old world, the Syreen gave them. So I thought the old world would have a blue sun like Betelgeuse... But that's wrong, it's yellow, like Sol.
After that I started to examine the other systems... fortunately I began a the top left side, because Beta Keplar was the last blue star to check.

There are three places you can find egg sacs, and any of them will work.
Otherwise, this was something that was in the PC version and was necessary, but was dropped out of the 3DO version (and consequently UQM).
Talana is supposed to tell you that "you know Syra as Beta Copernicus I".
Of course, I hope you read the Mycon QA sticky, because that's perhaps the big unknown in the SC2 game that got dropped in 3DO - where exactly the Mycon homeworld is.
