Odd question
« on: April 09, 2006, 08:12:33 pm »

I am using mac os 10.4 and have trouble removing a previous version of UQM. Everytime I try to empty the thrashbin the system complains that a process called OpenAL is in use and UQM can't be removed. I installed it under version 10.3 and I think upgrading to 10.4 might have screwed up something. I also have problems editing the keys.cfg. If I do this:
Tietokone:~/.uqm mikko$ open keys.cfg
I get an error message:
2006-04-09 20:47:00.350 open[1433] LSOpenFromURLSpec() returned -10814 for application (null) urls file://localhost/Users/mikko/.uqm/keys.cfg.
The wierdest thing is that another open source game, Battle for Wesnoth was the default application for keys.cfg. It mistaked it for a plug-in.

Small update: I  was able to remove the old version. I found OpenAL inside the UQM package, opened it up with text edit and wiped it clean. Ha!
