Hah, true, and both of those third installments were also made by someone other than the original creators. Eerie, that.

Incidentally, I heard a rumor ages ago about a proposed Fallout MMO. If it's true (and done as well as I would hope), it might be the first MMO game I'd ever seriously consider renting from the local game store.

 I just stumbled across this game and I am going...WOW..just what I have been looking for. I like the openness of the game...it is not a 'lead you by the nose' story. The combat is fun...those darn probes!!!.
 Funny without trying to point out its gags, good depth,playable,challanging.
 I takes some time to remember to NOT use the mouse and learn the key commands.
 A good game that I missed out on in the past. I have played new games with spectacular graphics and got bored quickly.

I completed the game and i never practiced in Super Melee. Indeed, when i met enemies early in the game i simply used to flee Grin But new players CAN play without practicing.

I simply love this game since I first played it in DOS mode. Its been over 10 years. Smiley
So the answer is, NO, this game is not only good. This game is GREAT ! I really hope to see the sequel to UQM.
