Okay I remember years and years ago playing a game that seems very similiar to star control 2 on the Genesis. Same type of gameply and aliens and it even had a foldup star map. It wasn't star control 1 (Which I know is on the genesis), so I'm wondering if they ported Star Control 2 to Genesis and it's called something else. Or was it a different game???

Probably Star Flight 1. Haven't played either of the Star Flight games myself, but a friend of mine enjoyed them.

That's a very promising project, but I don't see anything in the interview or the site saying that it will be for the Gamecube.
